How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, “Your God Reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

What an AMAZING way to start off our Prayerwalk Colorado journey in 2023! God hand-picked this place and these people just for us. WOW what a time of worship we had with our City On The Hill family!

First was the drive here through the beautiful, majestic mountains, rushing streams and rivers of Boulder County. Our God is so great! When we arrived at City On The Hill Church in Boulder, we met with Pastor Steve Shank, Pastor Jimmy Ratzlaff, sweet sisters Lauri, Helen and Joan, and precious brother Chris, and spent quite a time in passionate worship with these precious brothers and sisters. We spent time in worship, singing “I Enter the Holy of Holies”, We Exalt Thee”, and other songs played as we flagged and worshipped the Worthy One! When everyone had arrived, we went outside for our memorials.

Another sister shared, in Psalm 103:4, God says He “crowns us with His lovingkindness and tender mercies”. Brother Chris shared Numbers 10: 1-10, about the direction of God for the Israelites to make silver trumpets. These were to be blown for special times: celebration, worship, going to war, gathering the people, and others. We remembered this also, as we blew our shofars and his trumpet together in praise!

We moved our worship inside and got to share a bit more time of flagging, praising His Name, and sharing time with each other. Today we joyfully repeat with Pastor Shank, “Boulder will be a revival hub! Watch it happen for the glory of GOD!”

Pastor Steve prayed that God would never let the fire go out, as on the altars of old, on our hearts and on the church; that this fire would consume unbelief and anything in us not of Him. Our precious sister prayed over communion on her knees, that Jesus taught us at HIS knees and discipled us to know what this precious time meant. Lord, we claim this land for the kingdom of God. You have all power and authority and dominion and rule in US, in the Name of Jesus! We declare, Colorado is a high place for YOU Lord, and a light house for this nation!

It was such a precious holy time in His presence at His feet, as we took turns praying over and placing the elements and symbols into the ground, claiming the land for Jesus! Our time of communion was sweet, and as it began to sprinkle a light rain, we marveled at God pouring His Holy Spirit rain down of His bride. God, send Your rain on Colorado!
