Akron Foursquare Gospel Church was pleased to join us with Pastor Rich Moon, Elder Dan Danner, and his sweet wife Linda. A special gift to us is that we get to have our Melody with us to start this journey. Melody has been faithful to prayerwalk much of America with us in years past. What a joy to have her with us again as we begin our trek across the counties of our home state, Colorado. Colorado is known to be a high place in elevation in our nation, but Oh Lord, we pray this will be a high place in worship to You and in shining Your light.

As we tell them what we have been led to do, they are so willing to join us in this time. God gave us Zechariah 8:21: “And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the Lord, and to seek the Lord of Hosts. I will go also.” What a confirmation from the Lord. What a divine appointment. We were so blessed.

Everyone took part in placing some of the elements into the ground, and we all took communion together. A precious time it is when we, as we call it, “take communion with the land”. We actually place the elements into the ground as an offering to the Lord, remembering His sacrifice for us. Today we blew shofars together, and raised our hands in worship to the King. What a glorious sound when Your people praise your Name together. What an amazing God You are! There is truly NONE LIKE YOU!

Today was a really special day for us, with this being the first of 64 counties. What a special time it was to begin with a church already a part of Colorado Prays, and very interested in this prayer assignment. God, You already have waves of prayer and worship all over this state rising to Your throne, and we love it that You are allowing us to be part of it in this prayerwalk journey. Guide our steps, glorious Lord, and accept our worship as we bring You the honor You rightfully deserve. What precious brothers and sisters we will meet with all over the state, and beginning here, we shared a powerful time today in the Lord’s presence. Today was not only a time of fellowship and just enjoying each other’s company, but also a time of sweet worship, praise, and consecration of the land, and of our hearts in unity. We are counting on Your promises Oh Lord; when our cry reaches Your ear, You WILL shake the earth! (Psalm 18)

“There is NONE LIKE YOU, OH LORD. YOU ARE GREAT, AND GREAT IS YOUR NAME IN MIGHT. WHO WOULD NOT FEAR YOU, OH KING OF THE NATIONS? INDEED IT IS YOUR DUE. FOR AMONG ALL THE WISE MEN OF THE NATIONS AND IN ALL THEIR KINGDOMS, THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU! JEREMIAH 10:6-7.

GOD, COLORADO BELONGS TO YOU! WE WANT COLORADO! GUIDE OUR STEPS, OH LORD; WE SEEK “DIRTY FEET” ONCE AGAIN. YOU TOLD JOSHUA THAT EVERY PLACE THE SOLES OF HIS FEET TROD, YOU WOULD GIVE HIM THE LAND.
