County Seat: Golden.

As we said in Part One, Jefferson County brought many divine appointments! Our next stop was Mosaic Church in Littleton, CO. They advertise that they are a “Jesus Centered Community” and we certainly found that to be true. As soon as we entered, we were blessed to be greeted by two sweet women who were on staff and very eager to make us feel welcome. What a special time of fellowship we shared with Shoni and Terri, and what bright lights these ladies were to us. They stopped their work to spend a bit of time with us and were more than willing to join our prayers with theirs over Mosaic Church, the Littleton community, as well as personal needs. Thank You Lord for these two women of God, and may they be blessed greatly for their kindness to us. Lord, watch over their loved ones as they navigate this life, and let them ever and always stay close to Your heart.

Wrap Your great arms of love around Terri and Shoni, and thank You for the love that poured out of them for three strangers that wandered into their lives this day! As they serve and worship The King of Kings, let this lighthouse shine brightly and show the way to You!

Our next stop: Red Rocks Fellowship, Littleton, Colorado. what a beautiful place.

Anna and her sweet daughter Claire had some places picked out for our prayer and offerings, and we all decided on a place out front, right in front of their big beautiful cross. Oh Lord God, we pray again for Red Rocks Church and for the town of Littleton. Let people be drawn to You by the love and warmth that is extended to them through these people. Let those who come here never doubt they are loved and let Littleton be drawn to Your heart!

As Tony made our little “well” in the ground, he placed the flat rock and sticks in the land, symbolizing the altar of our hearts. Everyone took part and prayed through each of our symbols. Claire poured some mustard seed into the altar, then threw some into the wind, as we prayed that God would carry seeds of faith all across the county and grow strong trees with good roots in the hearts of Littleton. A chain link was placed in the ground, as we asked God to bind the hearts of His church together as one body in unity. Jeremiah 10:6-7 was added in a small container, as our theme verse for this journey. (See Home Page.) Finally, water symbolizing the water of the Word, and oil symbolizing the Holy Spirit and the anointing and presence of God, were poured over the offerings. As Tony covered the offerings, we all blew shofars in reverence and worship to the Lord! Inside the church building, we sat together in fellowship and worshiped the Lord in unity. It was a precious time.

We discovered Claire is a lover of music and is learning to play the piano. Lord, grow this in her heart, that she will use the songs she writes for Your glory to draw many into the Kingdom! She even dances for the Lord; what an amazing young lady. We were so blessed to spend this time with these precious ones. Thank You for Red Rocks Church and the Light they bring to Littleton.

Bless the Lord, Oh my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Psalm 103:1

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:6

Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:6

Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful singing! Psalm 100: 1-2

The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

Psalm 18: 46

Jefferson County brought many Divine Appointments, and every one special. Our first “appointment” was with a precious place in Melody’s heart, her own church, “Gateway on Mount Zion”. On top of a mountain in beautiful Golden, Colorado stands a noble structure in process of some reconstruction following a recent fire. Still, you could not miss the impressive artistry and charm, in the building, the mountainside, and the people.

This is a true lighthouse, and we were privileged to be here. In fact, we were blessed to meet some of those people, and one was able to stay with us and join in our offerings and worship. Melody’s dear friend and prayer partner was Marie Gerritz, and we were so blessed to have her join us. What a prayer warrior!

The church has set up large meeting tents in back of the property overlooking the beautiful mountains, for their gatherings. Just outside those, we were welcomed to have our prayer site for our offerings there beneath a tree. Oh God we pray over this amazing land You have given to us. As we place these memorials in the ground, Lord, we claim back our nation for You, county by county, state by state! As Tony prepared the ground, the Lord prepared our hearts. We shared our offerings, communion together, and a precious time of worship to the King on His holy mountain. What a sweet time of unity it was.

The sound of shofars pierced the air as the three of us ladies took our turns lifting this precious sound to the Lord. After anointing everything, Tony covered the offerings, and we spent time under the tents lifting our praise and worship to the Lord. God, we call down fire on our hearts from heaven as Elijah called down Your fire on his offerings to show You are the One True God. Let Your fire fall, first on Your people, then on this county, this nation, and all the nations of the world. Let this place truly be as its name says, a “Gateway to Mount Zion”!
