Moffat County

Moffat County is our next stop. The largest city in Moffat County is Craig, which is also the County Seat. This Northwestern Corner of Colorado is the second-largest county by area, second only to the County of Weld. As are the counties we have visited so far, this one is truly beautiful.

There are so many interesting artifacts here. As we prayed through Craig, we wanted to honor this town for its history and creativty, and for the honor it has given its veterans.

Other unique artwork and artifacts here included an intricately designed wooden hummingbird statue. As we prayed through Craig, we also admired two more pieces of history: an old farmer’s wagon and a “Denver Northwestern & Pacific” train car. Oh, the stories they could tell if only they could talk! Can you imagine?

Continuing through town, two little furry friends joined us. In different parts of town, these two little deer let us drive pretty close to them, and were apparently very used to being near people. What a sweet time we had admiring this little lady and gentleman, taking pictures like crazy! (So unlike me, I know.) Thank You God, for this special treat! Let Craig, Colorado pant after You as the deer pants after the water brooks!

We also prayed over the Courthouse, the Post Office, the Library and several churches before making our way through town and finding our park.

We worship You Lord our God. We have given You our offerings. We have remembered You with communion and taken communion with the land, as your blood drops sank into the ground the day You died for us. We have asked for more intercessors, for unity in the body according to Your Word, and for faith to rise up in America like the mustard seed. We declared Jeremiah 10:6-7 and poured water and oil over our offerings. And now we sing and declare: “For from You are all things, and to You are all things, You deserve the GLORY!” “We exalt Thee”; we declare that “Our God is an Awesome God”, and that “YOU REIGN”! We have come into Craig to lift Your Name and declare Your GLORY! Accept our offerings, Oh Lord. You are King over all, and King over Moffat County! In the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS WE PRAY- AMEN!”

We sealed our time here with the blowing of shofars and we have declared that this land belongs to YOU! You are Lord over Colorado and You are Lord over America! OUR GOD REIGNS!
