Routt County

The County Seat of Steamboat Springs in Routt County will be our final stop today. I can’t help but post pictures of the beautiful landscape all around us, and water everywhere.

Arriving in Steamboat Springs, we were met with this.

For you will go out with joy and be led forth with peace; the mountains and hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you,

and all the trees of the field will clap their hands!

ISAIAH 55:12

There is much opportunity for prayer here. As we drove through Steamboat Springs, we prayed over the churches, the families and schools, and for people here to be a Lighthouse for the Kingdom of God. We prayed over the Police and Fire Departments, and the medical staff and first responders. Holy Spirit be upon this community; let there be peace and safety here and let the people who come to this place see Your beauty and know You are the One and only God who loves them! We pray that You, Lord God, would release Your angels to take care of wickedness in high places. Let those in government and leadership positions here bow the knee to You.

Let Steamboat Springs truly be a Lighthouse to shine Your Presence; and let this place bring glory to Your Name!

Tony, Melody and I didn’t have to look far, to find water. Let Steamboat Springs not have to look far, to find the Living Water!

God showed us the perfect place to glorify Him with our offerings and as we placed them in the ground, we prayed.

Communion time is such a holy moment in Your presence. We remember when You were beaten beyond recognition, Your beard pulled out, Your side struck with that spear; when they used a “cat of nine tails” to rip the skin off Your body. You couldn’t even carry Your own cross. But, You were able to carry the weight of the sin of the whole world, because You are the perfect Lamb of God. We remember what You did. As Your blood spilled onto the ground, we place the emblems of Your body and Your blood into the land.

Lord, Your death and resurrection are what give us life and hope. Your life wasn’t taken; You gave it. You GAVE it- and, for us.

Thank You Lord, for making a way for us to be Your Bride. Thank You, when there was no way, for making a way. Thank You, for loving us that much. We remember. And, we worship You, right here in Steamboat Springs.

When the chance presents itself, I LOVE to throw the mustard seed into a river. Lord, carry faith as this mustard seed wherever this river flows, and all across Colorado and America!

“LET THEM PRAISE HIS NAME WITH DANCING; LET THEM SING PRAISE TO HIM WITH THE TIMBREL AND LYRE. FOR THE LORD TAKES PLEASURE IN HIS PEOPLE; HE WILL BEAUTIFY THE HUMBLE WITH SALVATION.”

These places You have sent us are places we will keep in our heart. Each county has its own beauty, and its own voice. Each has people You have sent for such a time as this, each with their own assignment.

We get to meet some of these people along the way. Some are planned, and some are surprises.

All are Divine Appointments.
