Arapahoe County

This afternoon we spent a precious time of worship under a beautiful evergreen in Puma Park, Littleton. The three of us left our offerings in the ground, blew our shofars and worshipped on the grass. As many walked by on the walking paths around us, we lifted high the name of Jesus. Oh Lord God, thank You for holding off the rains until our time here was completed. You are the God of the heavens, and the winds and weather must obey Your voice. You are almighty and Your voice is majestic and all powerful!

“Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,

Praise him with the harp and lyre!” PSALM 150:3

We will praise You Lord!

With our worship comes a time of communion together, a sacred and holy time. We are standing on Holy ground here. Thank You Lord, for what You did for us.

“For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death untiil He comes.”

I Corinthians 11:26

Lord, we pray for the leadership in government positions in Arapahoe County. We cry out to You that godly men and women of honor would sit in the seats of leadership, making decisions for this county according to Your Word. Let the Bible not just be allowed but be welcomed and read in government meetings and before votes and decisions are made, and let every meeting begin in prayer.

We pray that teachers and students alike will stand for what is good and right and pure. Protect the young minds of these students from the lies of the enemy. Place mentors, school leaders, and teachers over them that will protect and defend them from the lies this world tries to throw at them.

Raise up godly leadership to guide and direct these precious young ones. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14) God, give strength to Your people to not bow to the gods of this earth, but to lift their voice when needed to speak truth boldly and stand for Your righteousness. “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)

Let the church, the Ekklesia of Arapahoe County arise and give You the glory and honor You deserve! As we pray with our offerings, Oh God, send Your fire down on the hearts of Your people, on this county and in all of Colorado. We continue to cry out to You that our beautiful state which is known as a “high place,” will be known as a “High Place” in Your honor, as a lighthouse drawing all people here and across our great nation to You! Oh God, have Your way in Arapahoe County! Have Your way in America!
