County Seat: Denver.

With many emotions I begin to write this post on our final Prayerwalk Colorado County- Denver County. What a journey this has been. It’s been hard, long, difficult, wonderful and glorious. Much planning and prayer went into the finale of downtown Denver. So many people we love who have loved and prayed for and supported us over these years came to celebrate. I say “years”, because many who came on this day also journeyed along with us in our Prayerwalk America journey, and support us still. “Grateful” doesn’t begin to cover our love and gratitude to all of you. You know who you are. So do we.

In these pictures and prayers I hope to bring glory to the One who sent us on this journey, the One who deserves all the praise. I am so honored to tell you about our time in the Mile High City, but need to start with a word about those we love who have been very much a part of this journey.

We began preparations for our Denver Prayerwalk time long before we were done with all the other counties. God in His wisdom led us to the perfect place. We were invited to New Hope Ministries in downtown Denver. We invited many people to come who have been a close part of this Prayerwalk ministry, many faithful ministry partners, and many beloved pastors. From our home church, New Hope Brighton’s Pastor Leon Luna came and helped introduce the day’s events, pray with us and encourage us, and brought many from the church with him. Pastor Garcia and Associate Pastor David Lucero had many people from New Hope Denver in attendance. Also, our friend Mike Griswald was able to come from Celebration Congregation, with many others from there praying with us in spirit. I also need to include our precious prayer warrior family/ friends at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. We started Prayerwalk America from the Global Prayer Room there in February 2019. They have faithfully prayed us across 50 states and now across 64 Colorado counties. When we moved to Colorado, we began this journey across the Colorado counties with the help and encouragement from Amy Everette, founder and director of Colorado Prays and now our dear friend.

It was a joy to have faithful partners there from our Prayerwalk America ministry, who have stood with us for years, representing many local churches- Eric and Kimberly Purcell, “Mama” Shirley Harris and her daughter Theresa Herman, and Samuel Buschkoetter and Michael Seewald, all faithful prayer warriors for the Kingdom. We were well covered in prayer from USA and Global Watch prayer groups and other local churches. We could not have gotten to this point without all your love and prayers, I can say, we were well covered from all across America including friends, family and brothers and sisters in Christ. And, I want to give special mention to our Melody Pena, who traveled with us through much of Prayerwalk America and prayed with us through every county of Prayerwalk Colorado. We want to thank every one of you, with all our hearts. We truly love you all.

And, the day arrives! The Lord provided a sunny day without rain, and many came to join us. Excitement and anticipation, and meeting with old and new friends, is all around us!

Theresa, myself, and Mama Shirley.

Our dear pastors/ brothers in Christ reuniting and ready to pray over us and this dedication of Denver to the Kingdom of God!

HOLDING UP OUR COLORADO DIRT FROM 64 COUNTUES!

THE GROUND IS PREPARED, AND DIRT FROM ALL 64 COUNTIES IS POURED INTO OUR OPENING IN THE GROUND- A SYMBOL DECLARING THAT WE ARE TAKING BACK THIS LAND FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

TONY PLACES OUR “ALTAR” IN THE GROUND, PLACING STICKS OVER IT TO SYMBOLIZE OUR OFFERING TO GOD. WE ASK HIS FIRE TO FALL ON OUR HEARTS AND PRAY FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH WITH OUR CHAIN LINK.

ERIC READS, CRIES OUT, THEN SHOUTS OUT OUR JEREMIAH 10:6-7, PLACING THIS IN A CONTAINER IN THE GROUND! WE DECLARE THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU OH LORD!

Our Melody, a mighty prayer warrior and sister in Christ, takes a Colorado Prays card and prays for God to raise up more intercessors in Colorado and across America, then places this over our offerings. Mama Shirley prays over our mustard seed. We know the Lord said that if we have faith the size of a grain of mustard seed, we could say to a mountain, “Be removed” and it will be cast into the sea. We are honored to have her pray her heart over this as she sprinkles mustard seed into our altar, throws some into the air and even asks to have some sprinkled over her. She prays for faith like this to grow in Denver, Colorado, and across our nation. This was a precious time of intercession for our state and our nation.

Samuel and Michael pray over the water and oil and pour it over our offerings. We are so blessed to have such mighty prayer warriors here today.

There is so much to say. I could write a book on just Denver County. (I almost have!) These people from our church New Hope Brighton, our dear friends and prayer partners, all those from New Hope Denver- it is hard for me to find a way to close this post. The pictures to follow are of our communion and worship time together. Dear Pastor Glenn led communion and everyone lined up to place part of their communion over the altar, remembering how Jesus’ blood poured out on the ground for us. It was Holy Ground. I sang a different worship song than usual. I sang, “The Spirit and The Bride”.

The words are, “Let the one who hears the Savior say, Come. Let the one who is thirsty, Come. Behold the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the end… in Him we will never, never thirst again. Bo,Bo,Bo, Na Bo.” (Hebrew: come, come, come, now come). I asked that if there was anyone within the sound of my voice, that needs the Savior, to please come. If anyone was thirsty, come. I cried out to downtown Denver, COME. We cry out to all of Denver, COME. We cry out to America, COME. COME, NOW COME!

This post tries to do justice to a mighty work only our God could do. Again I am filled with emotion as I close this post. Many times I thought, I’d never get to this point, but here I am. On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2023, I am completing the post for our final county we completed on the last Sunday in October, this year- 2023. Thank You for praying. Thank you for listening. And, Lord God, thank You for Prayerwalk Colorado.

Merry Christmas, Jesus our Savior. Thank You for coming.

Hebrew: HaRuach v’hakala Omrim bo; HaRuach v’hakala Omrim bo; Spirit and the Bride say come; Come, now Come!
